Terms and Conditions of Booking

1.

General

(a) All persons using the premises do so entirely at their own risk and no responsibility will be accepted by The Agar Hotel for loss or damage to vehicles or other effects or equipment however caused.

(b) No refunds can be made for early departure.

(c) Loss or damage, for which any occupier of the accommodation may be responsible, will be paid for in full before departure. The hotels reserves the right to take payment using credit card details left with the hotel and civil action will be taken if necessary to recover any losses.

(d) The first named person is responsible for the booking and should be over 18 years old.

(e) Please be considerate of other Guests in relation to noise levels when returning to the hotel late in the evening.

(f) Due to current and forthcoming legislation the hotel has adopted a no smoking policy in the bedrooms and the lounge/dining area. This is for the safety and comfort of all guests. Guests may smoke at the front of the hotel using the chairs and ashtrays provided.

 

2. Bookings

(a) There is a minimum 2 night stay when making bookings on line, single night stays are subject to availability and must be booked by contacting the hotel directly.

(b) The hotel does not accept Stag & Hen parties and if on arrival it is found to be such a booking, the hotel retains the right to refuse entry and retain all monies paid.

(c) If booking more than 2 rooms It is preferred contact is made with the hotel, this could be to the benefit of the customer as discounts are often available.

(d) A booking is not confirmed until a deposit has been received by the hotel.

 

3. Admissions

(a) We reserve the right to refuse any booking; the right of admission is also reserved.

(b) No rooms are available for parties of under 18s unaccompanied by an adult.

 

4. Check-In and Check-Out

(a) Rooms are available from between 2.30pm - 6.00pm unless otherwise agreed.

(b) Guests are required to vacate the room by 10.00am.

(c) If a Guest does not arrive or contact the Hotel before 6.00pm on the day of arrival, the room may be re-let and no refund available.

 

5. Charges & Payment

Credit Cards are accepted and a fee of £2 per transaction is payable and 50p for debit card payments under £30. Balances are to be paid in cash or card on arrival or by cheque at least 7 days before arrival date.

 

6.

Pets and Smoking

We operate a no pets and a no smoking policy.

 

7. Cancellation Charges

In the event of cancellation, the following charges will be made:
(a) Failure to adhere to terms and conditions - No Refund
(b) Cancellation 2-14 days before arrival date - @ £15 per person per night
(c) Cancellation day before & day of arrival - No refund available Full Payment may be taken.

 

8. Refunds

All refunds are made at the discretion of the proprietors. The hotel retains the right to refuse entry and retain all monies paid.
